Lena Redman
Hey, I’m Lena

I’m so grateful that you found your way here. Let me share a little more about myself.

I grew up on our family dairy farm in South East Qld and am a country girl at heart. I was the youngest of 5 children and as a family we also fostered many other children.  Our home had an open door for anyone who needed it, was full to the brim with love but not without its challenges. What I learnt early on in life was that challenges could be overcome with hope, love and a healthy resilient mindset. After my childhood experiences it felt like the natural progression for my life was to educate and help others to get the best out of life despite the challenges they face and so I began my career in education.

I now have twenty years of experience working in education. I have worked as a day care teacher, classroom teacher and school guidance counsellor in primary and secondary schools within both rural and urban communities. As well as my educational and guidance counselling qualifications, I am trained in many other areas of mental health and am up to date with industry and educational best practice. I have supported thousands of children and their families to navigate the challenges of life and am committed to providing opportunities for others to stretch their minds, learn more about themselves and grow so that they can soar to new heights.

After twenty years working with children and families I have come to understand that the single most important thing children need to thrive in life is for their Mum to be thriving also.

I am now on a mission to revolutionise how Mum’s look after the wellbeing of their families by focusing on themselves first. I combine my own diverse life experience, together with my qualifications, training and extensive experience working with families to help Mum’s reduce their stress and anxiety and have more time to enjoy the things that matter most to them.

As a Mum, I know how hard it is trying to be it all and do it all for your kids and having no time left for yourself.  I continue to face the challenges of raising my young girls, working as a school guidance counsellor and running a business. But I now have developed an unstoppable mindset and created habits that make this more sustainable so I can find the time to actually enjoy it all.

Building meaningful connections with others has always been my strength.  People often get chatting with me and say they just feel like feel have known me for years and can tell me anything. I’m a practical, no fluff type of person.  I like to get to the heart of the problem and create an actionable plan to solve it. I don’t take myself too seriously and love to have a good laugh.

When I’m not working I enjoy the best of both country and coastal living where I live with my husband and two girls in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.  I love the simple things in life like writing, reading, listening to music and spending quality time with my nearest and dearest. My favourite quote is from Maya Angelo and it sums me up to a tee.

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour and some style.”

I can’t wait to help you and your family thrive in life too.  Because life is about living right.

Best wishes always, Lena x
